I don't know much about Google Plus but I know that people have been talking about it and have been comparing it to Facebook. I was about to join Google plus. I just want to know, is it another social networking website? Or will it be the next Facebook?
I was on the Google Adwords Keyword Tool and found that Facebook has had the most hits followed by Youtube in the global monthly searches category . That was obvious! Type it up if you want to see for yourself. Or to correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm not sure what is so unique about Google Plus. However I know that it wants to be better than Facebook. Will that be possible considering the fact that Facebook has had the most hits? It has taken the number one social networking spot for several years. Who knows. Google Plus was created last year in 2011. Apparently Google Plus already has over 20 million users. Although I haven't seen any of my friends join Google plus yet. In comparison, Facebook has been around for years and has hundreds of million members. They even made a movie about Facebook's success called "The Social Network." I bet you that if Google plus takes over, Google Plus will also make a movie on their success.
Have you noticed that Facebook keeps changing their designs and features to keep us interested? That's because Facebook is competing against Google Plus and MySpace. Remember when Myspace was the number one social networking site? Facebook caught up and boom! Facebook won the number one spot.
I love seeing both compete. It is exciting! Let's wait and see what other new features these websites come up with. I'm not sure if I'll ever leave Facebook. But if all my friends and family migrate to Google plus, I should too. Leave a comment below if you've joined Google plus or haven't already. Tell me if you actually prefer Facebook. I'd like to know.

I'm now using both and waiting to see if Google+ will succeed or if it will be another of their products to bite the dust. Facebook has such a big lead in this market and everyone is happy there. Google+ will need to come up with another plan to entice users to switch over. I think a great strategy would be to add a feature that would allow us to display Adsense Ads from our profile pages that we could earn revenues from. Their membership numbers would rocket sky high.
Thankyou and your welcome. Looking forward to reading more of your articles x
Great Conversation Starter. Thanks for following and commenting on my hubs.
Thankyou all for welcoming me. I really like this community.
@alocsin You have a good point. It is a hassle adding all your information, contacts and also transferring your photos. I just can't be bothered doing that.
@phdast7 Thanks for that. I do agree that Facebook is getting out of hand with privacy. It was better when Facebook was simple.
Dumbledore is correct. Google+ gives the individial more options and more control over thier own information, who they share it with, who can see it, etc. I once was on Facebook, but not now. They are in my opinion, too controlling and too invasive. I now use Google+ and I like the privacy and the options it gives me.
Nice Hub. Welcome to HubPages.
I think I'll stick with Facebook for now as it's too much effort to deal with two social sites. Voting this Up and Interesting though. And welcome to HubPages.
Thanks for your input about the features of Google+. Wow. It is quite similar to Facebook.
Google+ gives the participant the advantage of isolating groups of individuals so a user can maintain a group of associates from work, family members who get along, family members who do not get along, and general acquaintances. A Google+ user can then control which groups may view individual posts. At least that is what I have heard.

Same. I'm using both now and I just like the Google plus 1 button to get your articles out there. However I still communicate via Facebook. That's an awesome idea. I would actually like that too. Thanks
